Late Winter Snows

IMG_0224 The first flowers of the season are late this year due to below average cold temperatures and late snows.  The yard is beautiful covered in snow.  I love trees with their snow and ice covered limbs, standing tall as frozen sculptures for all to see.

IMG_0439Snow does not stop the birds from visiting our feeders for an afternoon snack.  We still have a hummingbird that comes to our hummingbird feeder, so we’ve kept it filled all winter.

I love watching the birds and the snow.

Beautiful.  I love nature.
